Why We’re Going
In 2025, Summer Dey was invited to the Dominican Republic to preach and minister. What happened during that trip was incredible! The favor of God was upon the team and we got to witness miracles, healing, and powerful, life-changing encounters with God every day.
Now Fear Into Faith Ministries is opening the door for others to experience what God is doing there. This will be the first official Fear Into Faith mission trip, and we believe it’s the beginning of something that will impact lives for years to come.
This Is More Than a Trip
This is the birth of a new missions branch of Fear Into Faith Ministries. We believe God is calling believers to step outside their comfort zones and actively bring His love to the world.
Our goal is simple:
To facilitate radical encounters with God, while equipping believers to minister with boldness and faith.
What You’ll Experience
A week of hands-on ministry that will stretch your faith and grow you in boldness as you walk out being a true disciple of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pray For Those In Need
Visit homes, pray healing over families, and encourage people in their faith.
Serve Communities
Help feed families, serve meals, and bring hope to villages.

Participate in worship, preaching, and ministry in local churches.

Mission trips have a unique way of strengthening faith. When you pray for someone expecting God to move and you see Him answer, something changes inside of you.
Many believers discover new confidence and boldness when they step into ministry in this environment. This experience will deepen your faith and equip you to minister wherever God calls you.
What Ministry May Look Like

Spend time with children and youth in extreme poverty

Experienced Mission Leadership
This trip is being led alongside an experienced missions leader who has facilitated over 300 mission trips worldwide.
With decades of experience in international ministry, (including living in Haiti as a missionary from age 10-15), Taran Long brings wisdom, structure, and safety to every trip. Together we are building a missions program that will serve people around the world for years to come.
Limited Team Size
Because of housing and logistics, this mission trip is limited to:
25 participants
We want this to be a close-knit team where everyone can actively serve and grow. Applications are reviewed individually.
No previous mission experience is required.
This trip is designed as an extension of the equipping and activation happening through Fear Into Faith. Applicants must have previously attended Faith On Fire or Equipping The Saints.

Below are the key details about the 2027 Dominican Republic Mission Trip and how you can participate.
Trip Dates
June 3 - 12, 2027
During this week we will partner with local churches and ministry leaders in the Dominican Republic to serve communities, encourage families, and share the love of Jesus through practical outreach and ministry.
Mandatory Pre-Trip Meetings
To prepare our team spiritually, practically, and logistically, all accepted mission team members are required to attend four pre-trip Zoom meetings.

These meetings will include team orientation, ministry training, trip preparation, important travel information, and time to pray and prepare together.

Registration Process
All those interested in being a member of the Dominican Republic mission team will be required to fill out the application below and pay a non-refundable $500 deposit.
*If the applicant is not selected to be a member of the team this year, their deposit will be refunded.
What Is Included
✓ Mission Trip training in Miami on June 4th.
✓ Two night lodging in Miami
✓ Airfare from Miami to the Dominican Republic.
✓ Dinner with the team on June 4th.
Once in the DR price includes:

✓Project and service expenses
PLEASE NOTE: Airfare to Miami and home from the Dominican Republic is NOT included.
Payment Options
The total cost of the mission trip is $3,500 per person, if paid in full by November 15, 2026. A $500 deposit is required with your application to be considered for the mission team.
Once participants are selected, they will receive a welcome email with two options for paying the remaining trip balance:
1. Pay in Full
Pay the remaining balance by November 15, 2026 to receive the discounted trip rate of $3,500.
2. Monthly Payment Plan
$500 deposit
8 monthly payments of $440
*If an applicant is not selected for the mission team, their $500 deposit will be refunded.
Fundraising
Many participants raise support to help cover their trip expenses.
Some common fundraising ideas include:
• Writing support letters to friends and family
• Sharing your mission story on social media
• Offering small services or side projects
• Setting aside birthday or holiday gifts
*Fundraising is also a great way to invite others to partner with you in the mission through prayer and financial support.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Mission trip payments and fundraising donations are non-refundable.
Once a participant is accepted, Fear Into Faith Ministries begins committing funds to secure accommodations, meals, transportation, ministry supplies, and other expenses on behalf of each participant.
If a participant is unable to attend for any reason, funds already paid or donated cannot be refunded because those expenses have already been incurred or committed. All donated funds remain designated for the Dominican Republic mission and ministry outreach.

A valid U.S. passport is required for international travel.
If you need to apply for or renew your passport, we recommend beginning the process as soon as possible to ensure you receive it before the trip.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need missions experience?
No. You do not need prior missions experience. Just come ready to serve, learn, and allow God to use you. It is recommended that you have attended a Fear Into Faith event.
Is there an age limit?
This trip is only open to age 13 and up.
What will the trip cost?
The total cost of the mission trip is $3,500 per person if paid in full by November 15th. (The cost for those who pay after that deadline or wish to make payments will be $4,020.)
This includes:
• Lodging
• Meals
• All in-country transportation
• Ministry and outreach costs
• Project and service expenses
Airfare to and from the Dominican Republic is NOT included.
Each participant will book their own flights, and the team will coordinate arrival times so transportation can be arranged once everyone lands.
